Organizations will be assigned an exhibit space based upon the following point system.
Point Acquisition
Exhibit Points
An organization earns points each year exhibiting at the Conference. Points will be calculated cumulatively from the years 1992-2011 (6th-25th Annual Conferences).
- Booth Exhibit - 4 points per space, per year
- Tabletop Exhibit - 3 points per tabletop, per year
Bonus Points
An organization earns points per year sponsoring at the Conference. Points will be calculated cumulatively from the years 1998-2011 (12th-25th Annual Conferences).
- Munch and Mingle Luncheon sponsorship - 2 points per sponsorship, per year
- Refreshment Break sponsorship - 1 point per sponsorship, per year
- Other sponsorship points will be granted by Show Management on a case by case basis.
Point Deduction
An organization will lose 3 points for any violation of the Show Rules and Regulations that cannot be remedied on-site. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Late set-up or early tear-down of booth
- Violation of height and space restrictions
- Subletting an exhibit space
Tie-Breakers
If two or more organizations with equal points request the same booth space, booth placement will be made based upon the date and time that reservations were received.
Point Notification
Point notifications have been sent to organizations that have exhibited and/or sponsored at the Conference within the past five years (2007-2011).
Organizations that exhibited and/or sponsored prior to 2007 may request their point total from Show Management. Requests must be submitted by January 20, 2012 to Blair Moore, Exhibit Manager, at blair.moore@usurf.usu.edu.
Companies must submit any disputes regarding point discrepancies to Blair Moore by January 20, 2012. Show Management will address all disputes and achieve resolution prior to exhibit registration.
Show Management reserves the right to take action deemed to be in the best interest of the Conference. This includes, but is not limited to, making changes to the exhibit layout, show schedule, and Conference-related activities.
